CEO and LEED APSince his graduation from Valparaiso University with a BS in Civil Engineering, Mike Witteveen has been involved in over $400,000,000 of construction. In addition, Mike has achieved his Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional Certification. His areas of expertise include hospitals, medical clinics, and medical specialty construction; concrete structures; steel construction and office midrises; historic restoration; elevated and pedestrian walkways; health clubs; restaurants, etc. He also has created a new, very successful special projects division for a large contractor, and re-engineered and reorganized several companies. Mike possesses outstanding organizational and leadership capabilities, as well as extensive construction experience. He previously served as the President and is a longtime Board Member of the Lafayette Family YMCA and is the past President for the Downtown Business Center.
President and COOMike is a 1991 graduate of Vincennes University and has nearly 20 years of extensive experience on commercial projects. He has held supervisory positions for the construction of state office buildings, industrial buildings, high tech, public buildings, schools, fraternities and retail buildings. He is experienced in the up-front coordination such as design and budgeting, as well as scheduling and subcontractor coordination. Currently Mike and his wife, Rachel, are the Directors of Royal Family Kids Camp for abused and abandoned children. Mike is also very involved with Little league and youth football.
Project ManagerCarl Robison came to Tecton with 16 years of experience working in the Glazing field. Carl came to Tecton with experience in large window systems, sealants, roofing, and leak detection. He enjoys fishing, boating, taking family trips, coaching football, and landscaping.
Dennis joined Tecton as a Project Manager in December of 2019 as a husband of 22 years and father of a 7 year old daughter, which he considers his greatest accomplishments. As the son of a farmer, grandson and great-grandson of mechanics and business owners, he has always utilized an entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic. For 24 years, beginning as a summer job then upon graduating from Purdue, Dennis progressed through roles such as tradesman, General Superintendent, and Director of Field Operations, culminating as Director of Concrete Division, for a civil and concrete contractor, helping to build it from two guys working out of a garage into a $20M a year, 75+ person company. He has been involved in projects ranging from manufacturing facilities to schools, athletic facilities, municipal renovations, warehouses, and retail to both custom and production residential.
In the community, he has served in various roles through Lebanon First Baptist Church, as a volunteer member of the Thorntown Park Board, and is currently serving on the School Board of his high school alma mater, Western Boone. When not working he loves spending time with family, including his dogs, and friends in the outdoors, especially when it involves water.
Project Development ManagerStacy is a 1992 graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in Building Construction Management and a 2009 graduate Johnson University with a master’s degree in New Testament Research. In addition to a formal education in construction management, Stacy worked his way through the commercial construction ranks, working as laborer, carpenter, field engineer, and general foreman, before transitioning to project manager in 1998. Stacy now serves at Tecton as a Project Development Manager, working with owners and designers through the conceptual phases, managing construction, and managing company operations. Stacy volunteers with the Purdue International Friendship Program and as a Leadership Committee Member for the West Central Evangelistic Association.
Project ManagerCharlie Gault has worked in the construction industry for over 22 years. After two years of college, he started working in the construction industry and worked his way up through the ranks as a carpenter. He has held supervisory positions for the construction of custom-built homes, commercial building and multiple 100-year old historic building restorations. He is experienced in all areas of field operations including scheduling, coordination and contractor supervision. Charlie is active in the Knights of Columbus and coaches sports in his local recreational leagues.
Project ManagerKyle Kennell has joined Tecton Construction Management, Inc. as a Project Manager. Kyle has a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management from Indiana State University. For the last fourteen years, Kyle has managed the construction of NCAA athletic fields, concrete structures, schools, medical office tenant renovations and corporate office buildings. He has been responsible for the daily construction activity and coordination of contractors, scheduling of projects, onsite quality, and cost control. Kyle enjoys planning and making home improvements, spending time with his two daughters, and enjoying the family owned farm.
Paul Krick joined the Tecton Team as a Project Manager at the beginning of 2020. With him, he brings over 25 years of construction industry experience. He brings expertise in custom-built residential homes, commercial construction, demolition, and environmental remediation.
Paul has held many titles from laborer to project manager. As a project manager his duties included client relations, project budgeting and estimating, and overall project management to completion.
Paul loves spending time with his family, enjoying their boat, fishing, and whatever new adventure life puts in front of them.
Paul is also a proud Veteran of the United States Army.
Nathan Wireman has over 20 years of construction experience. He began as a laborer for a heavy civil construction company working his way into a field supervisory position. In 2006, Nathan began Project Management and Estimating with a commercial general contractor specializing in commercial remodel, additions, and office build-outs. In 2010, Nathan began supervising and managing construction of new multi-family developments and in 2015 became a manager over multiple large multi-family renovations.
Nathan brings experience and knowledge of working through budgeting, designing, and value engineering with customers, architects, and engineers.
Nathan always enjoys spending time with his wife and children, hunting, riding horses, and making music.
