Dennis joined Tecton as a Project Manager in December of 2019 as a husband of 22 years and father of a 7 year old daughter, which he considers his greatest accomplishments. As the son of a farmer, grandson and great-grandson of mechanics and business owners, he has always utilized an entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic. For 24 years, beginning as a summer job then upon graduating from Purdue, Dennis progressed through roles such as tradesman, General Superintendent, and Director of Field Operations, culminating as Director of Concrete Division, for a civil and concrete contractor, helping to build it from two guys working out of a garage into a $20M a year, 75+ person company. He has been involved in projects ranging from manufacturing facilities to schools, athletic facilities, municipal renovations, warehouses, and retail to both custom and production residential.
In the community, he has served in various roles through Lebanon First Baptist Church, as a volunteer member of the Thorntown Park Board, and is currently serving on the School Board of his high school alma mater, Western Boone. When not working he loves spending time with family, including his dogs, and friends in the outdoors, especially when it involves water.
